Within just two days, AXN Sports was able to receive full English-language multi-angle TPBL feeds directly through Spot’s Cloud Production system. There was no need to deploy satellite receivers, set up encoders, or manage complex routing. Everything—from signal ingestion to content distribution—was handled in the cloud. Spot enabled AXN to seamlessly tap into the TPBL live feed from Taiwan and start broadcasting to regional audiences immediately.
But signal access was only the beginning.
With Spot’s Highlight Automation, AXN Sports was able to transform raw feeds into polished English-language content in real-time. During each TPBL game, the system automatically detected key plays, created multi-angle highlight clips, and pushed them into a streamlined workflow for social distribution. These clips powered AXN Sports’ weekly “Top 10” content series—entirely without requiring editors or post-production staff.
This ability to generate timely, shareable, and localized highlight content became a cornerstone of AXN’s social media strategy as they built out their sports brand identity. The flexibility and control offered by Spot’s system allowed them to create exclusive angles and tailored content for fans across Southeast Asia and beyond.
Unlike a standard program feed, AXN Sports was also able to access multi-angle video signals through Spot, opening up new storytelling possibilities and enabling the creation of content that stood apart from generic coverage. Spot’s Cloud Production solution gave them a complete 360° view of each game—without setting foot in the stadium.
